Seto kostipäiv

Kostipäiv is the day of Setomaa pop-up cafes. This is a great way to peek into Seto farmsteads and see how people actually live behind those high gates. The hostesses have prepared their best dishes, the most delicious cakes, warmest soups, and thickest pies. On this day, one can taste real Seto flavors and those that are combined with modern tastes. But everything is based on local raw ingredients: you can be sure that only the freshest and best foods are gathered from the gardens, fields, forests, and lakes.
