Pop-up Café Day or kostipäiv on Seto Külävüü route

Saturday, 13 August at 12:00-20:00 and on Sunday, 14 August at 11:00-16:00 will be Pop-up Cafe Day on Seto Külävüü route where local farmyards will serve up locally sourced regional specialities. Stop on by to discover dishes and foods like sõir (local cheese), suulliim cold soup and tatipiirak mushroom pies, available on this day in many Setomaa family-run cafes. On Sunday, half of the cafes will have a peräpütüpäiv – an afterparty – where visitors will no doubt queue up for whatever wasn’t finished off on Saturday. Some cafes will also offer workshops.
