Ostrova festival

Setomaa is one of many places in Estonia that have been able to preserve its identity, language, customs and culture. Ostrova Festival is special as over two days, Seto leelo choirs sing and folk ensembles perform alongside Estonian rock bands. Besides music, participants can also check out the local handicrafts. The comic duo Piip and Tuut will delight kids with a performance of “Animal fairy tales”. The head of the festival is the beloved local poet and sportsman Margus Konnula, known by his artist’s name, Contra!
