Lüübnitsa onion and fish fair

The fair grew out of a need to sell local produce -- the golden onions grown in the high beds of of old fishing villages, which are woven into lush braids, as well as fish caught in Lake Pskov. In addition to local fish and onions, other quality goods are sold: pies, vegetables, drinks, and handicraft and industrial goods. The best-selling product is still the good old Peipsi onion, sold by the kilo or in beautiful braids. The fair is enriched by a diverse cultural program including various workshops and competitions.  Start 10.30 each day.
