Leelo Day
The 15th annual leelo day, called “Imält tütrele” ("from mother to daughter") will be held within the framework of Seto Folk. Leelo Day is dedicated to the leelo song tradition that has been added to the UNESCO list of intangible heritage. Seto choirs from all over Estonia, as well as dance groups, musicians, and guest performers. Leelo Day offers one the greatest opportunity to get a dose of Seto culture. Listen to hours of hypnotic Seto leelo songs and hear Seto language, see people in traditional costumes, and be among this special people.
