Whitsunday

The most important church holiday in the Luhamaa area starts with a service on the day following Whitsunday on 20 June, after which Setos meet graveside to talk with their ancestors, and local musicians and folk singers hold a kirmas – a Seto village party. We kindly ask visitors to attend in small groups and to respect local customs.
